Handmade jewellery is my passion, the idea that creating something with my hands that will be worn forever, become a cherished keepsake, and passed down to future generations is something I will never get tired of.
For me, hand-making jewellery is a way to forge a memory or meaning into metal, whether is it something you wear everyday, or a special keepsake to commemorate your most important life moments. I want my jewellery to be worn, not hidden inside a jewellery box. Little pieces of everyday luxury, jewellery that is to be enjoyed and that becomes a part of you and your story.

Hi Carole, I'm glad to hear you like the necklace. Every item in my store is handmade and can easily be substituted/altered with your choice of necklace length, I'd be more than happy to offer the necklace with an alternative length chain, but as standard it is sold with an 18" chain as per the listing description.

I design, hand make and love all the jewellery you’ll find here in my shop. I studied at the prestigious Birmingham Schoool of Jewellery, and graduated with a First Class Honors Degree in 2008.

Please remember that the beauty of handmade is that there will be slight imperfections and no two items will be identical.
Most of my personalised products are produced by hand stamping individual letters using metal punches. They are designed to have irregularities in the text, and to look handmade. They are not computer engraved.

Payment
Payment must be made in full before any personalised jewellery or commissions are made unless otherwise agreed.
Once work has started on a personalised or made to order item cancellations or refunds are not possible.
Shipping
Rings and personalised items will be shipped within 7 business days of an order being placed unless otherwise agreed.
Within the UK items are sent via Royal Mail 24, the expected delivery time is 1-2 days.
Outside of the UK items will be sent via International Signed for by Royal Mail or by a Courier, for more details for your country please get in touch and I can confirm expected delivery dates.
We can no longer ship orders to Germany, any orders with a German delivery address will be contacted and cancelled.
Express delivery is available upon request.
Any customs charges incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer, and the onus is on the customer to check any relevant customs charges, tax or duty, which may be payable in their own country before placing an order. By placing an order you are agreeing to this policy.

Frequently asked questions
How do I add personalisation to my order?
Check the product description for full details on character limits and layout, if you are unsure if your chosen word(s) are possible just send me a message and I will confirm or suggest another option for you. Once you are happy, add the item to your cart and continue to the checkout. Once at the checkout you will see an option to add a 'note to seller', use this to confirm your personalisation details in full and complete payment to place your order.
Will it come boxed?
All my jewellery is delivered in a beautiful Louy Magroos gift box making it ready to gift straight away. The gift boxes are tied in ribbon and come with care instructions, a polishing cloth and a gift tag for you to write yourself.
If you are sending as a gift direct to the recipient leave me a 'note to seller' at the checkout to let me know and I will be more than happy to gift wrap and send out with a gift message from you, just let me know what you would like it to say.
Custom and personalised orders
All personalised and made to order items usually take approx. 5 days to make ready to send (at peak/busy times this time may increase but I will always let you know if there is a delay as soon as you order).
Many of my non-personalised items such as earrings are in stock and ready to send within 1-2 days.
Once dispatched delivery times depend on your location, however as a guide...
UK ORDERS: 1-2 days (sent via Royal Mail tracked)
REST OF EUROPE: up to 2 weeks
REST OF WORLD: Up to 3 weeks
These are just estimates and often orders arrive earlier, however delivery times are not guaranteed unless postage is upgraded, so if time is tight, please get in touch and I can look into express shipping for you.
What delivery service do you use?
For UK orders, I use Royal Mail tracked which aims to deliver with 1-2 days, this is an estimate and not guaranteed. Items over £40 will require a signature upon delivery.
For international orders I use Royal Mail International Tracked and signed where available, if it is not available to your country the Royal Mail Tracked is used. Once the parcel leaves the UK it will be passed onto your countries postal service for delivery and customs clearance.
All customs fees for international orders are the responsibility of the buyer.
I will send through tracking details once your items are dispatched.
Do you Hallmark?
A hallmark shows that the metal has been independently tested and confirms the purity and quality of the metal.
By law in the UK all precious metals such as gold and silver must be Hallmarked if over the minimum weight (1g for gold, and 7.78g for silver).
All items over 7g are tested and Hallmarked along side my unique makers mark at the Birmingham Assay office for your guarentee.
Where appropriate other items below to 7g threshold are also hallmarked, please check the individual listing for more details.
Care instructions
Silver is a natural material that over time will tarnish; this is because it is reacting to the environment and chemicals in the air. It does not mean your jewellery is faulty, it just needs a quick clean to restore it to all its glory.
Use a silver polishing cloth rubbed gently over the surface of your jewellery to remove the build-up of tarnish.
To keep your jewellery looking at its best:
-Clean regularly
-Remove jewellery before showering or bathing
-Avoid contact with chemicals such as perfumes and lotions.
-Keep your jewellery separate to other items to avoid scratching
-Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
